David Walter Ribble: Owner & Artist
Hello!
Welcome to my new website! I am a life long artist who started out drawing from art school texts when I was about 10 years old. Since then I have pursued art as a craft and a hobby. I use oils, acrylics, water colors, and plaster combined with acrylic medium. In addition, I am also a sculptor using mostly wood, plastic, and metal wire.
Recently I made the jump to the professional level through gallery shows and Art Fairs. Art is in my DNA since I have several ancestors who were also artists, including my parents. They were all a big influence on my styles and tastes. In addition, growing up around Detroit, I have been influenced by the auto industry, especially design.
Ultimately, I hope to emerge from obscurity into the greater art world. With this website, I intend to reach a much greater audience for my work. Meanwhile, I continue to create works of art that I will periodically post here.
