For July:
Among several different projects, I am continuing to construct frames for more pieces that still do not have one. This includes a finished surface and installation of picture hanging wire and islets.
I am very close to completing a large sculpture, 45″ tall, that still needs a final coat of satin varnish. The first coat is drying. I like to let it harden for a couple of days.
I am also working on two smaller sculptures, one that is completed but needs a final coat of varnish. The second one still needs another coat of primer and a finish sanding with 600 grit sandpaper. I have yet to decide what color finish it will have.
For August:
The large sculpture, now titled ‘Flying Face’, is complete and added to the gallery.
Two more are completed. Titled ‘Fam’, and ‘She Wiggle’, also now appear in the gallery.
Meanwhile, I still dream of ideas for new works.
